Portal Neuro

What if Neuro had her own laboratory in the world of Portal? While keeping the original storyline intact, this mod introduces Neuro-sama into the game, adding a touch of her unique personality and style.

# Description

In this mod, Neuro-sama takes GladOs place. It's very difficult to replicate the emotion and the tone of the voice actress of GladOs, but I've tried my best to not make it dull either.

Aperture Science has also been updated with "Fun AI Laboratories", which lines up with Neuro better. This affects both visuals and the voice lines.

The portals and portal gun have also been altered. Portals now use pink (although the game engine seems to render them more magenta) and green, colors more inline with Neuro-sama.

I've play tested it a few times but there's so many changes that I'm sure I've missed something or messed something up while trying to fix something, feel free to poke me with anything you find and I'll fix it!

For those that might be interested, I changed 251 audio files, 60 texture files, the credits and the English subtitles!

# Subtitles

In my orignal version only the English subtitles were modded, but now thanks to SheepYhangCN from Neurocord the mod supports Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese! Although I can't vet the translation since I don't speak it. If there's any issues with it let me know.

To change your subtitles language you need the Dev console which you can toggle like: Settings > Keyboard > Advanced > Developer console

Open the console with the key: ` (the key on top of the tab key)

• To switch to English: cc_lang english
• To switch to Simplified Chinese: cc_lang schinese
• To switch to Traditional Chinese: cc_lang tchinese

# Installation

To install the mod first go to the game folder:

Once there open the folder: portal

Create a new folder: custom.

Put the .vpk mod file in custom.

Extract the subtitles' .zip into the portal folder. It will ask you to replace files, press yes.
